This wedding party danced the night away and we feel so lucky to have been a part of this day!Ĭongratulations Shanda and Dan! We wish you all the happiness in the world! As the sun started to set, the string lights came on, and the space became a twinkling oasis in the middle of Downtown Detroit. The rooftop was transformed into a stunning wedding reception venue. With the Renaissance Center and the Detroit skyline behind them, Shanda and Dan tied the knot! It’s time for the ceremony! It was such a beautiful, mild, sunny day, and it was perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We got a few striking portraits in the lobby of the Opera House, then we piled in the party bus to take photos at some iconic Detroit locations. Located on the top floor of the Detroit Opera House in Downtown Detroit, the Coors Light Sky Deck is an unique, beautiful, and thus unforgettable experience. Shanda was a stunning bride in her beaded, fitted dress and pearl jewelry, and her groom looked quite dapper in his tuxedo! After they finished getting ready at the Opera House, it was time for pictures.
These two are a pretty laid back couple though, so we managed to hit a lot of the major Detroit landmarks for photos as well, all before their rooftop wedding! That’s right… their wedding was on the Detroit Opera House ROOFTOP! Simply put, it was amazing. In the lobby of the Opera House, there are opulent chandeliers and grand staircases.
Detroit Opera House wedding photography is quite grand. In late August, we had the pleasure of photographing Shanda and Dan’s big day! They had their wedding at the magical, beautiful, and historic Detroit Opera House.
